very pretty!

What's the difference between a 512BBi crank and a 512M crank?

The M crank is like a 355 cut and drilled everywhere to make it light.
I had to machine down the snout and make a special key so the standard BBI pulley and gears fit.
Everything else was the same.

Are there other hop-ups in the engine or planned?

Generally when someone goes to the bother of a light crank and Ti rods they've got a plan to add rpm and hp :)

Pistons, cams and valves. We kept it mild because of stock injection.

If it's of any interest to you a guy on my open source ECU forum claims to have a way to use an ECU to control CIS systems. The full writeup is on the Pelican parts forum I think but but he posted and updates basics here:

I have seen the electronic controlled regulator for CIS. It uses an injector to regulate the pressure. I have not heard anything bad about it, but my issue is not getting to far off base and get the meter pulsing and causing all kind of head aches.
Last I checked they are $650 and we need two for the Boxer. Larry Fletcher @ Flowtech set up our regulators and dist. head and they work really well.
